Mr. Carl Shaw, Jr. "Buddy", 87, of McDonough, GA passed away December 19, 2014. Mr. Shaw was born in Henry County the son of the late Lillie Mae Craig Shaw and Carl Shaw, Sr. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Rhoda Allman, Janie Petty, and Betty Russell. He served his country in the Army National Guard and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church where he was a deacon, Sunday school director and taught Sunday school. Mr. Shaw was an avid sports fan and one of the original organizers for the Ola Athletic Club. Survivors are his wife, Coreda Shaw of McDonough; daughters and sons-in-law, LeAnn and Mike Kamal of McDonough and Carla and Joe LeNoir of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Lauren LeNoir and Joe LeNoir III of Raleigh; sister, Catherine Dilback of McDonough; brother-in-law, Bobby Russell of McDonough; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Shaw will be Sunday, December 21, 2014 – 3:00 PM at Sharon Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Greg McGaha officiating.
