Aaron Wayne Hudspeth
December 31, 1970 — December 12, 2023
Perry
Aaron Wayne Hudspeth "Huddy", age 52, passed away, with his wife by his side, December 12, 2023, from complications after an extended illness.

Aaron was born December 31, 1970, to Glen and Glenda Hudspeth in Prineville, Oregon. He grew up in Prineville on the family ranch until he entered the US Army in 1989. After serving in the regular Army, he returned to Central Oregon where he served nine years as a Medic in the Oregon Army National Guard. In Oregon, he worked several jobs, most recently at Hi-Tech Electric, where he was a technician working on irrigation pumps and motors for over 17 years. He moved to Perry, Oklahoma in October 2021 where he was the Animal Control Officer for the City of Perry until his death-a job he absolutely loved.

Aaron married the love of his life, Tammy, in May of 2000. Together they raised their five children: JD, Hunter, Sam, Hollie, and Clay. Aaron was an avid hunter and gun enthusiast. He could talk endlessly about either one. One of his other passions was college football. He always rooted for the Oklahoma Sooners and especially the Oregon State Beavers (as well as ANY team playing against the Oregon Ducks!). He loved animals, particularly his own kitties, who he talked about constantly to anyone who would listen. He enjoyed small town life. He and Tammy spent many weekends going on their "small town tours" in both Oregon and Oklahoma. He was a friend to everyone he met and would do anything for anyone at any time.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tammy of Perry, OK, his five children Jeremiah Hudspeth (Kelsie) of Mitchell, OR., Sam Hudspeth of Elkhart, IN, Clayton Hudspeth (Chridden) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Hunter Hicks (Morgan) of Wickenburg, AZ, and Hollie Carter of Prineville, OR, and the four apples of his eye-grandchildren Ben, Scarlett, Maven, and Cehlani. He is also survived by his mother, father, and sister, Debbie Shaw, as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.

Donations can be made to the City of Perry Animal Control account at Perry Veterinary Hospital, PO Box 7, Perry, OK 73077.
