RHONDA LEE PARKS, 33, of Crisfield, was found deceased by homicide on Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Manokin, Maryland. She had been missing since February of 2006.

Born in Crisfield on January 14, 1975, she was a daughter of Bonnie Kay Bradshaw Parks of Crisfield and the late Francis Edward "Ronnie" Parks who died in 1985.

She was a graduate of the Crisfield High School Class of 1994 and attended Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

She was a CNA and had worked for McCready Hospital in Crisfield, Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke and Genesis ElderCare in Salisbury.

Rhonda loved children, loved life, and enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Kay Bradshaw Parks of Crisfield; three children, Clarence Ladell "C.J." Ward, Jr. of Salisbury, Katrina Pamela Matthews of Pocomoke City and Nathan Edward Parks of Salisbury; two sisters, Stacey Ballard and husband Irving of Crisfield and Alisha Parks of Crisfield; one brother, Rick Evans of Crisfield; nieces and nephews, Jacki Lynn Crockett, Mashala Ballard, Issaiah Ballard and Jay'den Ballard, all of Crisfield; a great-niece, Alaina Nicole Dominic of Crisfield; her grandmother, Eloise Parks of Rumbley; and several aunts and uncles.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peggy Holland, Garland Parks, Thomas Franklin Bradshaw and Lorena Ellen Bradshaw.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. Pastor's Jerry Hughes and Nolan Ford will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be sent to Eastern Shore Evangelistic Church, P.O. Box 87, Crisfield, Maryland 21817.
