Rose was born on September 3, 1929, in Manitowoc, daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Coblewski) Kolodzeske.
She went to Manitowoc Schools and graduated with the class of 1948 from Lincoln High School.
She married Lee J. Rohde on September 12, 1952.
Rose worked as a secretary at Mirro Aluminum and many other businesses. Rose was also a caregiver for her father and her twin sister. She enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, and doing puzzles.
Rose was survived by three children, Joan (Jeff) Rohde-Mitchell, Menasha, Barb (Mike) Rohde- Schaff, Manitowoc, and David Rohde, Manitowoc; 2 grandchildren, Justin Mitchell, Appleton and Jessica (Justin) Gurga, Appleton; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Blanche Kolodzeske; 4 sisters, Emily Meyer, Eleanor Wilda, Lucille Coen, twin sister - Ruth Marie Kolodzeske; 3 brothers, Alvin Kolodzeske, Roman Kolby, and Daniel Kolodzeske; and the father of her children, Lee J. Rohde.
A family memorial service was held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home. Deacon Alan Boeldt officiated. Burial of her remains followed at St. Casimir Cemetery.
The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer location assisted the family.
