Roman Catholic Saint and Benedictine nunTheodechild, was the daughter of Theuderic I, King of Metz (Merovingian Dynasty) (485-534) and his wife Suavegotha of Burgundy(?-549)

Not much is known about her except she founded the Abbey of St-Pierre-le-Vif at Sens.

Sometime in the 8th century there was in the cemetery near the monastery, where a group of tombs were found, among which are those of the founders of the diocese, and the first bishops.

Perhaps she was buried there.
