Mrs. Fannie French Day, wife of Mr. S. F. Day, one of our most prominent citizens, died Sunday night about 5 o’clock at the home of her mother at Crewe. The funeral occurred today, with interment in the old family bury-ing ground near Webb Mason’s in Giles county, Va. She was 30 yerars and one day old, and leaves two small children. She was a vey lovable character, and will be greatly missed by her friends.
