Alex "Levi" Crusan, 29, of Lafayette, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, at Home Hospital.

He was born in Peru, Ind., on Feb. 4, 1979, the son of Frank and Jill Daine Crusan of Lafayette. At 3, he was diagnosed with Histiocytosis-x.

Surviving with his parents is his sister, Brynley Martin (husband: Kevin) of Peru.

Also surviving are an uncle, Ron Daine (wife: Marilyn) of Edwardsville, IL, and an aunt, Joan Daine of Los Altos, CA. Although he was sick most of his life, Levi never complained.
