WILLIAM J. CAZAAD [sic]DIES IN CLAY CITY

William J. Cazaad [sic], 68, of Clay City, was found dead at his home Friday morning by a neighbor, Mrs. Pearl Loye.

Coroner Fred B. Gibson conducted an inquiry, in which it was determined that death was caused by a heart block.

Among relatives surviving Mr. Cazaad is a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Teachenor, of Webster Groves, Mo. [Daughter Leora who lived in CA not mentioned in obit].

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Easley & Padgett Chapel in Clay City with Rev. Herman McGill in charge. Masonic graveside services were held in Clay City Cemetery.

4th marriage to Maude Lewis (maiden name was Johnson) on 03 April 1924 in St. Louis City, Missouri. Both were residents of St. Louis City, Missouri. Marriage ended in divorce before 09 April 1940 census-- William is listed as divorced, living in Clay City, Clay County, Illinois.
