Carrie Allen Bernard (Age 100)

A native of Gloucester County, Va., former resident of New York City and longtime resident of Silver Spring, Md. (The Point and Takoma Park Towers), died September 1, 2004. Survived by two sisters, Hughes A. Redcross of Silver Spring, Md. and Mary Boston of Sligo Creek Adventist Nursing Home, Takoma Park, Md. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews and cousins. The family will treasure the stories of her 100 years, her dignity and humor. Her friends will remember her passion for life and her kindness. Memorial service to be announced at a later date. Arrangements by McGuire.
