Ladd's love for the great outdoors, particularly his passion for hunting, was a large part of who he was. Hunting not only brought him happiness but also served as a conduit that connected him to the beauty of nature. His fervent support for LSU, marked by purple and gold pride, showcased his enthusiasm for sports. He shared the highs and lows of every game with great spirit.
As a doting grandfather, Ladd found joy in the company of his five grandchildren. The memories created during those precious moments will endure as a testament to the love and warmth he showered his family with. Beyond his immediate circle, Ladd effortlessly transformed acquaintances into lifelong friends, leaving a trail of camaraderie wherever he went.
For 30 years, Ladd dedicated himself to Estes, where his skills as a boilermaker in fabrication left a permanent example of craftsmanship and hard work. Work, for him, was not merely a means to an end; it was a reflection of his unwavering commitment and passion. His love for life, akin to the refreshing taste of a cold beer, illuminated every room he entered.
Ladd Louviere's legacy lives on not only in the craftsmanship he contributed to Estes but also in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, humor, and genuine nature. As we bid him farewell, may he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the echoes of laughter and the warmth of the memories he created.
