Bridget M. Heavilin, 48, of Gibson City formerly of Fairbury and Strawn passed away at 4:40 pm Tuesday December 19, 2023 at her home in Gibson City. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held 11:00 am-2:00 pm Saturday December 23, 2023 at the Strawn Community Building in Strawn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation. Rosenbaum Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Bridget was born February 20, 1975 in Gibson City a daughter of David and Trudy Heavilin.
She is survived by her mother Trudy Heavilin. Two sons that she loved with all of her heart, Ashdon Heavilin and Landon Collins and two sisters Gena (Brian) Vernon and Stacey Heavilin; her nieces and nephews Wyatt, Shelby, Chase, Summer and Raygen, grandfather Jack Walton. Her dad David "Gravy" Heavilin preceded her in death.
Bridget has had a lifelong battle with epilepsy and mental health. Having Schizophrenia her fears had taken over her life. We now know she is at peace and will be taken care of. Rest in peace Bridg, we love you.
