Thomas retired from the Department of Agriculture. He lived his life in Washington, DC before moving to Texas in 1970. He had been a resident of Round Rock, since 2022. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War. Thomas was of the Methodist faith, and he served as a Mason.
On March 20, 1953 he married Frances Rogers Camp, who died on February 13, 1998. He was married a second time in 1999 to Sheila M. Camp, she died in October of 2021. Thomas was also predeceased by two brothers, James V. Camp and Harold David Camp; a sister, Barbara Camp Heffinger.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas H. Camp, Jr. and Landon G. Camp (Veronica); two grandchildren, Miranda Camp and Ian Camp; two brothers, Max T. Camp and Richard E. Camp.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
