Robert Allen Aardema, age 65, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2023, after a long battle with kidney disease. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Don and Ann Aardema; siblings, Sheryl and Jeff Williams, Don and Shelly Aardema, Rick Aardema; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; friends, Cathy Aardema, Chris Arnold, and Jeff Kooistra. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Tracey Aardema. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Tom VanderPloeg officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery.
