Judith is survived by her children: Bradley (Ann) Howell of Lafayette, Natalie Howell of Crown Point; step-children: William (Sabine) Ashcraft of Merrillville, Daniel (Karen) Ashcraft of Dewey, OK, Gregory (Debbie) Ashcraft of Lake Station and David (Cheri) Ashcraft of Portage; grandchildren: Destiny Bowsman, Derrick (Cheyenne) Bowsman, Tim Ashcraft, Jill Ashcraft, Terry Ashcraft, Dianna (David) McDaniels, Leanna (Clint) Blevins, D.J. (Melinda) Ashcraft, Laurie Ashcraft, Brittany Ashcraft, Scott (Rachel) Ashcraft, David Ashcraft Jr., Paul Ashcraft; and great-grandchildren: Hunter, Haylee, Hudsyn, Kaya, Sawyer, Evan, Dean, Mollie, Breana, Christina, Dillon, Bailey, Aida, Kelsie, Timothy, Carmen, Kamille.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents: John & Stella Ambrose; husband, Earl "Dean" Ashcraft; brother, Dennis John Ambrose; and step-son, Dale Ashcraft.
Judith worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Hobart as a registered nurse, part of the I.V. Team and in cardiology. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul and Holy Name Catholic Church in Cedar Lake. Judith had impeccable style and taste and was the sweetest person. She loved golfing, gardening and was very caring and loved to learn.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Additional Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 11000 W. 133rd Ave. Cedar Lake, IN 46303.
Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point, IN.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Judith's name to St. Vincent de Paul.
