Willard J. "Bud" Kolb, 90, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. He was born September 24, 1927 in Patoka to the late Clarence and Janice (Palmer) Kolb. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. His employment history started with him working at the Patoka Block Plant, which was owned by his father, then with Tom Key Trucking, Hancock Trucking, Greyhound Bus Lines, and then A & H Truck Line, where he retired in 1988. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Princeton, Teamsters Local #215 in Evansville, Prince Masonic Lodge #231 F & AM in Princeton, where he received his 50 year Award of Gold in 2013, Scottish Rite Valley of Evansville, Evansville York Rite Chapter #12, Simpson Council #23, and LaValette Commandery #15 Knights Templar.

"Bud" is survived by his 2 children, Bradley J. Kolb of Francisco and Tonia J. Howe (Timothy) of Lakeland, FL; 5 grandchildren, Brandy J. (Kolb) Witzel, Nicholas J. Kolb, Brock J. Kolb, Dustin J. Bartley and Kyle J. Bartley; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 16 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Carolyn J. (Ingle) Kolb in 2007 and to whom he was married in 1951; a brother, Robert P. Kolb; 2 sisters, Nancy L. Wilson and E. Antoinette Meeks.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Vanlal Hruaia officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10th at Colvin Funeral Home. Prince Lodge #231 will conduct a masonic memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided at the cemetery by retired military veterans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Presbyterian Church, 130 E. State Street, Princeton, IN 47670. Envelopes will also be available at Colvin's. You may leave a message of sympathy or light a memorial candle at www.colvinfuneralhome.com.
