Mabel M. Myers, 87, of Marigold Health Care Center died there Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999.
Born July 9, 1912, in Goreville to Francis and Nettie Stonum Koonce, she married Charles A. Myers on June 3, 1933, in Waterloo, Ill. He died Aug. 27, 1993. She also was preceded in death by one grandson, four brothers and six sisters.
A licensed practical obstetrics nurse at Galesburg Cottage Hospital for 25 years, she retired in 1971.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
