Sherri Lynn Caldwell of Gainesville, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Sherri was born on September 13, 1959, to Monisa and Kenneth Caldwell in Dallas, TX. After Sherri graduated from Slidell High School in 1977, she attended college at Cooke County (NCTC) and went on to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in business from Texas Woman's University.
In 2014, Sherri retired from the Department of Health and Human Services and spent most of her time golfing and going to the beach.

Sherri was predeceased by her brothers Gary and Casey (Kevin), and her father Kenneth Caldwell. She is survived by her mother Monisa, brother Curtis (Brenda), nephews Marshall (Lara), Ty (Chelsea), Will (Rachel), Coleton (Landri, several great nephews, and close friends Kathy and Jeremiah.

No service has been planned at this time. The family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, an organization Sherri felt strongly about.
