Daughter of Sir Charles Tennant and Lady Emma (née Winsloe) Tennant.

Married J.P Thomas Graham Smith on 30 Apr 1879, died 1908.

She was an accomplished artist who has a watercolour painting in the National Portrait Gallery - an image of Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig dated 1894. She also produced the watercolour work seen here of Burford Priory, in the Cotswolds town of Burford in West Oxfordshire, England, in 1920.
