She was born December 24, 1946 to Ogden Pervis and Bertha Wilkerson Wood.
Funeral Services will be 11am on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home with visitation starting at 10am until service time.
Betty attended school in Newton and was our classmate ~ Class of 1965.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Malcolm "Mickey" Campbell, her brother, J.G. Wood and a grandchild, Stewart Campbell (42079143).
Her survivors include her daughters, Christy Haymon of Newton and Julie Foster of Jasper, Texas, her brothers, Allen Wood of Newton, Donald Wood of Newton, Roy Wood of Carthage, Texas, Troy Wood of Newton and Travis Wood of Newton, her sister, Bonnie Calcote of Carthage, her grandchildren, Alexis Spikes of Jasper, Whitney Foster of Newton, Christopher Campbell of Newton, Celeste Foster of Jasper and Colton Haymon of Pennsylvania, great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aspen, Aubrey, Emeree, Kayden, Connor, Kameree, Kaycen and Saint.
Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her ~~
