Daughter of John Morris Twitty (1849-1881) and Sarah Jackson (1855-1939).

Married on 24 Jun 1903 in England. Arrived in Canada on 6 Sept 1907 on the SS Empress, departing from Liverpool.
Maude travelled to Canada with her sister-in-law, Annie (Drinkwater) Clarke, and their young children. Their destination was Kamloops, BC, to meet their husbands who had arrived in April. Maude and Thomas eventually settled in Vancouver.
