Carol Ann Wamhoff (née Kaufmann) went home to be with her Lord on December 31, 2023. She was surrounded by loving family during her final days.
Carol was a devoted wife to John for 63 years. She was a loving mother to her three children, John (Julie), Jennifer (Matthew) and James (Jody). She cherished her nine grandchildren, Daniel, Emily (William), Rachel, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Nathan, Jared, Clayton and Aidan. She was such a caring aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend.
She touched so many hearts in her 83 years. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and seemed to always fall for a good April Fool's joke by her oldest, John. She was so creative, taking drawing and flower arranging classes, and completing countless crafting projects over the years, passing this love on to Jennifer. She took such pride in her home, always finding the perfect touches to make everything just right for family and friends. She loved her Cardinals, watching many games and collecting memorabilia, a passion that she shared with Jim. She and John enjoyed traveling together, especially with the train club. She loved animals and volunteered for years at the APA. Carol had also been actively involved at St Alban Roe Catholic Church, especially during their parish annual basement sale, which was a perfect complement to her love of shopping.
We pray that she is reunited in heaven with her parents, John and Bertha and her three beautiful sisters, Ginny, Judy and Kathy.
Services: There will be a Funeral Mass at St Alban Roe Catholic Church, 2001 Shepard Road. Wildwood, MO 63038, on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends directly after mass for a luncheon held at the church.
