Mary A. (Dunne) O'Brien was the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Powers) Dunne. She married Dr. John F. O'Brien in 1927. A graduate of the Rogers and Allen Business School in Fall River, she worked as an executive secretary for the E. P. Charlton Estate. Mrs. O'Brien was a charter member of the Fall River Catholic Women's Club and belonged to the Queen's Daughters and Friends of St. Anne's Hospital. She was survived by her step-son John C. O'Brien, three grandchildren, and one niece.
