A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Iota for Jo Ann LeJeune Regan, 78, who died Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 8:40 a.m. at Acadia Extended Care Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Andrew Killeen, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited Friday at 6 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Mausoleum.
Mrs. Regan is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald H. Regan of Egan; two daughters, Billie R. Bailey and her husband Jason of Germantown, TN, Lee Ann R. Wall and her husband Jeptha of Egan; four grandchildren, Zachary Bailey of Louisville, KY, Ethan Bailey of Germantown, TN, Regan and Ezekiel Wall both of Egan.
Jo Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as an LPN in the Jennings area from 1992-1999. She loved to quilt and sew, bake, and work in her greenhouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mabel Leger LeJeune; one sister, Loretta L. Rasberry.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, granddaughter, sons-in-law and family friend Ronald Regan.
