Annie Mae Andrepont, a beloved member of Ville Platte community, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 8, 2024. Born on April 29, 1943, in Ville Platte, LA, and was deeply cherished by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church at 1:30 PM.

A burial will follow at the Gates of Heaven Mausoleum. Father Steven Pellessier will be celebrant of the service.

Annie Mae dedicated many years of her life as a secretary at Dr. Ashwell Office, her commitment and dedication to her work were evident in the task she undertook with passion.

While her career was an important part of her, it was her role as a mother and grandmother that truly defined her. She was a devoted mother to her children and took immense happiness in being their constant source of love and support. Her grandchildren also held a special place in her heart, bringing immeasurable joy into her life. She found great delight in sharing precious moments with them, watching them grow and flourish. The love she showered upon them knew no bounds.

Annie Mae had specific passions she pursued with zest. She thoroughly enjoyed visiting with family and friends, relishing their company and creating lifelong memories. Additionally, trying her luck at casinos provided excitement and entertainment for her.

Annie Mae is survived by her daughter, Marlene Hebert and husband, Brian of Scott, and her son, Ronnie Andrepont and wife, Kimberly of Bayou Chicot; her three grandchildren, Meghin Manuel, Kyle Hebert and Morgan Andrepont; two great-grandchildren, Lauren Manuel and Theodore Manuel. Also, left to cherish her memories are her brother, Paul Deville and Annie's former husband, Berlin J. Andrepont.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Kossuth Deville and Armide (Fontenot) Deville, both of Ville Platte.
