Sandy was born on December 17, 1953 in Kirksville, MO, to Murel and Vivian (Purdy) Leftridge.
She is survived by her two children, Laura Reams (Darian) of Celeste, TX, and Michael Jackson of Brookfield, MO; three grandchildren, Madison, Colby, and Triston; one sister, Shirley Tracy of Shelbina, MO; nieces and nephews including Debbie Ziebarth (Scott) of Macon, MO and Mark Tracy (Colette) of Cairo, MO; and cousins Linda Kay of Brookfield, MO, Lori Jackson of Macon, MO, and Cleota Perkins of Macon, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Paul Tracy.
Sandy was always a hard working mother, and in 1999 she became a 'nana'. Sandy loved spending time with her grandchildren Triston, Colby, and Madison. In her free time she enjoyed baking, crafting, exploring genealogy, attending Royals games with Cleota and Lori, and vacationing to Branson with her sister. In her final days she found peace being surrounded by family and lifelong friends (Debbie Denium, Merilynn, and Billy), and listening to Molly play guitar and sing to her.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors in Shelbina, MO.
