Charles Baer died April 10, 1935 as a result of injuries received in an auto accident. His wife Anna was in the accident and died earlier on April 1, 1935. Charles, or Carl as he was known, was a baker and General Manager of Wagner Baking Corp.
They had five children; Charles J. Baer, Meta (Mattie) Baer (Robert) Wheeler, Theresa A Baer (Walter) Stelling, Helen Dorothy Baer (Charles) Schluening and Frederick W. Baer. The family resided in Newark and Hillside New Jersey.
