Mary enjoyed putting together puzzles and playing the solitaire card game. She also liked taking pictures at every family event and had thousands of pictures developed and placed in photo albums.
She helped out at St. Bernard's with the Christmas Bazaars and funerals, also at the school in the first aid office. She also made items to donate like her kitchen towel sets with the crocheted tops. Mary also helped the homeless by being part of "Mercy Mats" which reuses plastic store bags to create mats for the homeless to use between them and the ground.
Mary was a "mother of many", besides having 15 of her own children; she would often be a mother to their friends and neighbors, too. She is the last of her generation so there will be a great reunion in heaven upon her arrival!
Mary is survived by 13 children, 35 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents: John and Anna (Brausch) Bangart, her husband: Joseph, her brothers: Anton (Mercedes), Edmund, Ernest (Patricia), Theodore, Andy Bangart in infancy. her sisters: Katherine (Joseph) Denk, Helen (Joseph) Mader, Marie (John) Kloos, Clara (Clarence) Lenhard, Barbara (Richard) Spindler, Regina (Eugene) Seidl, Christina (George) Heier, her children: Kelly and Joann, daughters-in-law: Judy and Elizabeth, grandchildren: Vanessa, Ashley, and David.
