Betty Mae Stacks, 94, of Freeport, Texas passed away January 10, 2024. Betty was born in Kensett, Arkansas.

Betty is survived by her sister, Gert; her son, John Calvin Stacks, Jr. and wife, Stephanie; her daughters, Freida Sapp and husband, Craig and Cheryl Wulf and husband, Kenny; her grandkids,Staci, Brian, JC, Josh and Lauren; her great-grandkids, Kyle, Kara, Mitch, Brianna, Keith, Logan, Corbin, Carly, Harper, Lacie, Paisley and Riley; her great- great-grandson, Clash.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Russell and Nola Maggie Smith; her brother, Max; her husband, John Calvin Stacks, Sr.; her son, Phillip; her granddaughter, Audra; and her grandson, Brad.

She loved her family more than anything and her sweet cat Tom. She loved working in her flower beds and always had a hug for everyone she knew. She worked many places including Hart's Drive In, Weingartens, Tiptons, 3 Brothers and Girouards.

Services will be January 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Stroud Funeral Home in Clute.
