Adrienne Louise Allen
1966 - 2024

Adrienne Louise Allen, 57, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 10th, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. She was known for her kindness, generosity, love of animals and especially her quick wit.

Adrienne was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 4th, 1966, and attended Mt. Washington Elementary and Ridgley Jr. High School until moving to Utah in 1979. She graduated from Timpview High School in Provo, Utah. Education was always important to Adrienne. She graduated with honors from the University of Utah, making the Dean's List, with an undergraduate degree in political science. She went on to receive her MBA from the University of Phoenix and started her professional life in Utah, working as a financial specialist in the hospitality industry. She moved to Colorado in 2007, and continued her career in finance with Lehman Brothers, Aurora Bank, and most recently, Employers Council, where she worked in the accounting department for 10 years.

Adrienne loved to crochet and would often gift her beautiful creations to others. She loved hiking in the mountains of Utah and Colorado and enjoyed music, attending many concerts throughout the U.S. Her greatest joys in life were dogs, Kafka and Mitzi, who were more like her children.

Adrienne is survived by her parents, Richard John Allen and Carol Lynn Allen; sister, Stephanie Conlee (Robert S.); brothers, Matthew Sean Allen and Nathan Taft Allen; four nieces: Brittany Taylor, Kaitlyn Lewis, Sydney Grieve and Rylee Allen; nephew, Robert A. Conlee; six grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She adored them all.

A special thanks to her Colorado friends, Keith, Phil and Shirley, who were her angels on earth, her co-workers at Employers Council, and the loving care she received from her health care and hospice providers.
