It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Inetha Modine Roberts, a cherished resident of Whitney, Texas, who peacefully left this world at the age of 83. Inetha was born to Paul and Billie (Mead) Howell on April 23, 1940, in McKinney, Texas. She graduated from McKinney High School, and her journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and a warm spirit.

Inetha married the love of her life, James Burnell Roberts, in a union that stood the test of time. In her professional life, she served the community faithfully and retired from the county clerk's office in McKinney, Texas. Her commitment to her work was a testament to her strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.

A woman of faith, Inetha was a proud member of Sun Country Chapel in Whitney, Texas, where she found solace, community, and spiritual nourishment. Beyond her professional and religious pursuits, Inetha enjoyed simple pleasures, including the joy of watching her favorite TV shows, finding comfort and relaxation in those moments.

Inetha is survived by her loving son, James "Bret" Roberts, and his wife, Angie, of Guy, Arkansas; grandson, James "Tell" Roberts of Little Elm, Texas; granddaughter, Jaycee Craine of Denton, Texas; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Billie Howell, her son Ronnie Roberts, and her beloved husband.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
