Sydney Ann Clark Abney, age 85, of Fultondale, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. Sydney was born to the late A.B. and Emily Lowery Clark on April 6th, 1938.
She attended Gardendale Presbyterian Church, Fultondale United Methodist Church, and most recently Temple Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama. Sydney was a woman of grace and style who loved her family dearly.
Sydney was welcomed into heaven by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert "Bob" S. Abney. She is survived by her immediate family, Samuel Abney, Lisa Abney, and Samantha Abney; and a host of extended relatives.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Malcom Carter officiating.
