Felix Heink (or Gustav Paul Isidor Ludwig Felix Heink) was born on May 8, 1861 at the Kriebstein Castle in Waldheim Saxony, Germany (near Dresden). His parents were Felix August Heink and Augusta Rebecca Dursthoff. Felix Jr. was a pianist and professor of music in St. Louis, Missouri. His last home was at 4579 Washington. Felix was also a brother-in-law of the opera and concert singer Madame Schumann-Heink. He never was married and died on January 1, 1929 at the St. Louis City Hospital.

Note:

1) Felix Heink's death record says that he was buried at the Valhalla Cemetery, but that is incorrect according to a staff member of the Valhalla's Hillcrest Abbey. He was buried at Oak Grove, and there is no marker for him.
