A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Soper moved to Santa Cruz and lived on Bronson Steret. Her husband, Ruel, died in 1958, and Mrs. Soper moved about three years ago to South San Francisco to make her home with her son, Elmer, who survives. She was a member of the Unity Temple of Santa Cruz.
In addition to her son, other survivors are a sister, Mittie Rountree of Santa Cruz, two granddaughters, six great-grand children and six great-greatgrandchildren.
The Rev. Eugene Sorflaten of Unity Temple will officiate and interment will be in Felton District Cemetery.
