Mr. Hager was born April 13, 1949, in Mexico, a son of Robert William and Frances Darlene (Maupin) Hager. On February 4, 1990, in Audrain County, he married Sheila Diane Eveatt who survives at the home.
He attended Mexico High School and had worked for the Mexico Housing Authority.
In addition to his wife Diane, survivors include one son, Ronald Lee Hager, Jr., Mexico; one daughter, Lorie Ann Hager Houston, Mexico; five brothers, Larry Hager and wife Vivian, Mexico, Danny Hager, Columbia, James Stone and wife Peggy, John Stone, and Russell Stone, all of Mexico; three sisters, Debbie Patrick and husband Dean, Jennifer Stone, and Evelyn Nachreiner and husband Mark, Mexico; six grandchildren, Jesse and Jay Hager, Dayton, Taylor, Dillion, and Darrell Houston; and one great-granddaughter, Jada Hager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Floyd Stone; a sister, Marilyn Sue Stone; and one step-sister, Mary Robinett.
