RICHMOND, Ind. – David Clarke Hinshaw, age 57, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Reid Health after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born September 2, 1966, in Richmond, Indiana, to Rodney Clarke and Lynda S. Hinshaw, David was a life-long resident of Richmond. He completed his education at Richmond High School. David worked at Benchmark (formerly Green Acres) for over 30 years. He was a joyful soul who brought light to everyone around him. He had helpers all over the community who assisted him in the collection of aluminum cans, separating the tops for Ronald McDonald House, and plastic bottle tops to support Cope Environmental Center. David encouraged people to work together for a common goal. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan and also loved monster trucks. Above all, David loved being active and spending time with family.
