She was born in Peterboro, daughter of John and Julia Dinnehy Danehy. She was graduated from Syracuse University and taught in Bennett High School, Buffalo, until retiring in 1953. Miss Danehy was a member of St. Mary's Church, its Altary-Rosary Society and the New York State Retired Teachers Society.
She leaves two sisters-in-law, Miss Lester Danehy, Hamilton and Mrs. Cornelius Danehy, Rochester, and a brother-in-law, Edward Corrigan, New Hartford.
The funeral will be at 9:30 Wednesday from the Henry W. Beecher Funeral Home and at 10 from St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Matthew Doran, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 tomorrow.
