Kathy A. Wilson passed away on January 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. She was born in Nashville, TN on September 15, 1965, to Doris and David E. Anderson.
Preceded in death by her father, David E. Anderson; maternal grandparents, Theodore and Ruth Nipper; paternal grandparents, Claude and Dorothy Anderson; parent-in laws, James and Joyce Wilson; sister-in-law Pam Bauer; brother-in-law, Jerry Potts.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Wilson; children, Kyle Wilson, Emily (Blake) Allen; grandchildren, Abigail Allen, Lincoln Allen, Teddy Allen; mother, Doris Anderson; brother, Michael Anderson; sister in-laws, Vickie (Joel) Turnbow, Wendy (Chris) Beggin as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
Kathy graduated from Madison High School in 1983. She later attended Volunteer State Community College.
Throughout her career, Kathy worked diligently at various credit unions and banks. Although Kathy's professional accomplishments were notable, her true passion lay in helping others. She dedicated much of her time to rescuing and fostering cats and dogs. Her love for animals knew no bounds, and she often went above and beyond to ensure their well-being.
Family meant everything to Kathy. She shared almost 33 wonderful years of marriage with her loving husband Jimmy Wilson. Together they built a life full of love and cherished memories. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Abigail, Lincoln, and Teddy, who she loved dearly.
Kathy had a special affection for cats and dogs. Her home was always filled with furry companions who brought immense joy into her life. The pets she leaves behind will undoubtedly miss her presence just as much as she cherished theirs.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am with a Celebration of Life at 11:30am and the burial to follow, all at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, Funeral Home, & Cremation Center.
Kathy's warm-hearted nature and unwavering dedication to those she loved will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her love for animals and willingness to lend a helping hand defined her character and left an indelible mark on the world around her.
