Susan Lucille Hill Abbott
Susan was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ross Z. Hill and Verla Lucille Heileson Hill. While living in Idaho Falls, she attended schools there, graduating from Skyline High School in 1967. She later married and divorced – they had two children.
Susan reunited with Scott Abbott, whom she had met in high school. Scott was Susan's first date and her first kiss. They each married the love of their life on August 30, 2014, in Boise, Idaho. Two hearts beating as one. Scott died in 2021.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Bestland of Minneapolis, Minnesota; son, Greg (Alicia) Bestland of Rochester, Minnesota; siblings: Patricia, Deborah, Kathleen, Michael, Kim, and Gregory; step- sons, Preston (Karlee) Abbott and Philip Abbott, both of Idaho Falls, and Aaron Abbott of Boise; plus many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott; her mother; father; and brothers Dennis and Ron Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Wood Funeral Home located at 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83402. A visitation will take place one hour prior from 10:00-10:45am.
