Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Helen Niles, 97, whose frozen body was found in a bed at her home Saturday afternoon, were conducted Monday afternoon from the McMullen funeral home. Burial followed in Greenhlll cemetery. Local authorities did not establish cause for her death, but it is believed that she had been dead several days before the body was discovered.
Mrs. Niles was born June 22, 1836, in Monroe county, Michigan. In 1877 she was married to John Niles of Sullivan. He died about 22 years ago. Since then, she had been living alone.
