Born in Pittston on June 4, 1946, son of the late John and Susan Vidlicka Danko, he was a graduate of Exeter High School and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, West Pittston.
He enjoyed attending antique and classic car shows in Lancaster and Bloomsburg.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren at Knoebels Park, Elysburg.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Prior to his retirement in 2015, he was employed by Schott Optical, Duryea.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Russick, in 2007, and brothers, Eugene and John Danko.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Barbara Schobert Danko; sisters, Carol Wycoski and husband, Eugene, Exeter; and Susan Elko and husband, John, Exeter; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Friday. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

I worked for a time with Bob at Schott. He was a truly nice guy and a pleasure to work with. He will not be forgotten.
