Betty Ruth Culwell passed away on January 31, 2024 after a 7 year battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on January 7, 1930 in Elkins, Arkansas. Spending time playing with her grandchildren was the joy of her life. She was a seamstress sewing for many individuals as well as several assisted living homes up until a couple of years before her diagnosis. She loved gardening and bird watching.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred and her son, James.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Atkinson; grandchildren, Kristen Olivas and husband Charles, Joshua Atkinson and wife Alicia, Holly Castro and husband Robert, and Caitlin Tomlin and husband Joel, Colter Culwell, Ethan Culwell, and Jessica Culwell. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred and her son, James.
