I only ever knew him as "Alton".
Alton was a cattle trader/dealer and spent every Saturday until way into the night at Taylor County Stockyards in Campbellsville, KY, driving that old red 1970s Ford F-750 cattle truck with a dead tandem axle.
Alton spent numerous terms as Sheriff of Green County back when a Kentucky Sheriff could not succeed himself and had to stand out a term.
Between terms as Sheriff, he worked on the Greensburg City Police Department.
Alton was a genuine prankster, always loving to "get one on somebody" or send someone on a wild goose chase.
Alton's father was Claud L. Nunn (1902-1972)
His mother was Mary Frances Hall Nunn (1912-1997)
They are buried in Aetna Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Green County, Kentucky
He has a sister, Maxine Bennett of Summersville.
