Kenneth Kresheck, age 90, of Hartford, Wisconsin was called to his eternal home

in heaven on Sunday, February 4, 2024.


Born May 13, 1933 to the late Vladimir and Mary (nee Riha) Kresheck and later united in marriage to Dorothy Brown, and were blessed with 2 children, Terry (late) and David.



Ken proudly served his country when he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force 1953. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Ken received his officers commission and continued his military service with the

U.S. Air Force Reserves. After 25 years of service, he retired with the rank of Major.



Kenneth was employed at Force Outboards (West Bend Company – Chrysler Outboards – Force Outboards) from 1960 to 1992 where he served as the manager of Industrial Engineering under each new corporate banner. After retiring from Force Outboards, Ken worked part time with Component Engineering from 1992 to 2002. Ken was a long-time member of American Legion Post 19 and the 40 and 8 in Hartford, WI. For his exceptional service to the Legion, he was named Legionnaire of the Year 2018.



The following is a partial list of some of his many contributions to his community, along with his loving wife, Dorothy: Longtime supporter of the Hartford United Fund, Member of the Hartford Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, The Threshold Board of Directors, Hartford Memorial Hospital Foundation, Cash for "Cash" to establish the first K-9 Officer for the Hartford Police Department, Member of the Hartford Planning Committee, and a founding member of the Hartford R/C Club - The Kettle Moraine Fliers.


Ken is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, David; 4 grandchildren; great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Preceded in death by his parents, Vladimir and Mary Kresheck; brother, Lloyd Kresheck; and sister, Carol Graham.


Funeral Services for Ken will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, 1500 Hwy 310, Manitowoc (Two Rivers), WI 54220. Family will greet relatives and friends at the cemetery chapel of Knollwood Memorial Gardens on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Entombment to follow services.
