Patricia "Pat", age 71, joined her Heavenly Father, on November 27, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Ponchatoula.

Pat was a Godly woman, who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a true example of a Proverbs 31 woman, strong in her faith yet humble. She was always there for others to bless, encourage, listen, mentor, pray, and serve. Her desire was to see her entire family serve the Lord.

She treasured her family and loved them unconditionally. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest blessings in life called her Meme, Meem, Meemster, and Nene. They brought so much joy and fulfillment to her life. She set an example and left a Godly legacy that will be passed down to future generations.

She was a hard worker that excelled in everything she did. She enjoyed being outside in God's creation: bird watching, gardening, baking cookies, beading, making ornaments, and sewing. She handmade beautiful banners and flags used in worship to the Lord. She was a member of King of Glory Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Elliott Henry Paretti and Esther Brooks Paretti.

She leaves behind her loving husband Robert "Bob" Hornick of 39 years, her daughters Chrissy Landry (Chris), Elizabeth Ward (David); son Albert Schiro, Jr. (Carol); grandchildren, Chris Landry, Jr. (Maranda), Micah Landry, Hannah Landry, Jackson Ward, Ella Ward, Beau Ward; great grandchildren, Tinleigh Johnson, Everlee Landry, a sweet baby boy on the way, and her beloved puppy, Esther. She also leaves behind brothers and sisters: Louie Paretti (Sherry), Pam Decuers (Larry), Paula Berlier (Jeff), JoAnn Spinner (Guy), Joe Paretti (Sheila), and Nick Paretti along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70403 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Rusty Silvey will officiate.
