Bransby Philip Booth was born in January 1856 in Liverpool, England, the youngest of Philip and Louisa Maria (Margetts) Booth's four children, and was baptized in Liverpool on Jan 31, 1856. Two of his siblings had died in childhood before he was born (he would later also have a half-brother and half-sister from his mother's second marriage).
He married (1st) in the spring of 1884 in Liverpool and was widowed by the 1901 census. He married (2nd) Ruth Annie (last name unknown) in about 1904 and they had one daughter, Lena Nellie, in June 1905.
Bransby worked as a joiner. He died in Liverpool during the 1st quarter of 1935 (probably in late Feb/early Mar) at age 79 and was buried in Liverpool's Allerton Cemetery on March 3.
