Edward Allen Aplin, 77, retired coal miner, died Thursday at 9 p.m. at his home in Senecaville follwing a lingering illness. He attended the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Christian and Mrs. Eva Clodfelter of Senecaville; one son, Paul, Cambridge, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Purdum, Senecaville ad Mrs. Margaret McMahan of Zanesville; three brothers, Thomas, Cambridge, Wade of Senecaville and George of Becknell, Ind.
The body was taken to the Meek Funral Home and will be returned to the home Friday evening where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Dale Sowers of Zanesville. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
