Ms. Connie Annette Hardee, 77, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Simpson. The family will receive family and friends in the fellowship hall following the service. Ms. Hardee, daughter of the late Noah Thurman Hardee and Doris Stokes Hardee, was a native of Pitt County and a graduate of the Grimesland High School. She received a bachelor's degree in Accounting from N. C. Wesleyan University and in her early working years was employed by ElectriCities in Raleigh as an accountant. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Connie, an avid lover of animals, adored her furry friends. She took great pleasure in making prayer quilts at Salem United Methodist Church. An outside person, she treasured the time that she was able to spend gardening. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Alan Hardee.
