Silver Blue Obituary

   Mrs. Silver Lee Blue was called from labor to rest on December 6, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Marion, S.C. Sister Silver Lee Ezell Blue was born March 17, 1940 in Van Vleet, Mississippi in the county of Chickasaw. She was the only child born to the late Farris and Virgia Lee Gates Ezell.  


   She graduated from Tolleston High School in Gary Indiana. She farther her education and served several counties as a social worker in Chicago, Illinois. 


   In 1966 Miss Silver Lee Ezell was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. James Edward Blue to this union one son was born. James Esmond Blue. God blessed Mr. James Edward and Mrs. Silver Lee Blue with 55 Years of Love Together.  


   At an early age Sister Silver received Christ. She served in many capacities in the church. In Grater Mount Eagle Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. She and her family relocated to Delray Beach Florida. They joined Christ Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Matthew Mitchel Jr. Sister Silver Blue served faithfully in her church on auxiliaries, the missionary and youth department, choir and other capacities in the church. Her hobbies: cooking, fishing, interior decorating, and sewing. Oh, how she loved the Lord, her husband, her precious son and grandchildren! 


   Sister Silver Lee Blue has served mankind for many years. She continued services as a social worker and daycare teacher in Delray Beach Fl. The family then relocated to South Carolina where they joined The House of God Church, Zion, Pastor: Rev. Velma R. Jennings. Sister Silver Blue served faithfully in Zion until "The End." Her favorite saying was "Let it Rest On The Lord".


   She attended her last Conference Call Service on Sunday 12/5/21. To God Be The Glory for The Things He Has Done in the life of Sister Blue. Sister Silver Lee Ezell Blue answered her Divine Call on 12/6/21.
