Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ben Simon (Maud Calhoun Simon); his daughter, Mrs. J. Thomas Fuchs (Scottie), two grandsons, Mike and Jimmie; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Watson of Douglass, Arizona, and Mrs. Pink Norrell of Breckenridge, Texas; one brother, Raymond Simon of Abilene, Texas. A son, Sterling, preceded him in death.
Brother J. B. Young of the First Baptist Church conducted graveside services at the Wimberley Cemetery, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Pallbearers were his nephews: Charles Cook and Lynn Calhoun of Wimberley; Jack Harber and R. L. Harber of Henley; James Calhoun of Blanco; and Lowell Calhoun of Victoria.
Ben Simon was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Simon of Mount Sharp. He was born July 15, 1895, and lived most of his life in the Wimberley area, where he was engaged in ranching and farming.
