Funeral Services for Elton Worth Wagner, 60, of Wimberley were held Wednesday, April 26 at the Wimberley Baptist Church with the Rev. J. B. Young officiating. Burial was in the Wimberley Cemetery under the direction of Pennington Funeral Home.

Wagner died April 23 after a brief illness.

He was Past Commander of VFW No 6441 of Wimberley, Masonic Past Worthy Master of Masonic Lodge of Blanco, a member of Rural Carriers Association and a retired mail carrier after nearly 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Vernona Wagner of Wimberley; a daughters, Mrs. Patricia McFarin of Wimberley; a son, Bryce Wagner of Wimberley; five sisters, Mrs. Eston Rodgers of New Mexico, Mrs. Edith Roberts of Wimberley, Mrs. W. D. Walker of Lake LBJ, Mrs. Billy Tyson of Austin and Mrs. Hurley Griffith of Wimberley; two brothers, Ralph Wagner of Wimberley and Bill Wagner of Lampasas.
